Lifted Trucks

For many people, lifted trucks are the only trucks. A properly installed lift not only allows for more clearance for larger tires, but can also give you a better view your surroundings. In most cases, lifts rarely add more than 2-4 inches in height, but there are many examples of people going larger than that.

Lifted trucks are most often associated with cowboys and people from rural communities. However, this is a stereotype at best, as there are plenty of such truck owners that reside in some of the country’s largest metropolitan areas as well. The appeal of these vehicles is widespread among people of all economic and social levels.

Lifted trucks can come directly from the dealership, or can be created from aftermarket parts. Many truck enthusiasts prefer to add the lift themselves because it allows them to choose all of the components. However, for those that are not so mechanically inclined, purchasing a pre-lifted truck is often a better idea.
